Where are you based?
We are based at  Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia.

Where is your shop?
We bake from home at Taman Sri Rambai, Bukit Mertajam and conduct workshops at our cake studio at Taman Seri Impian, Bukit Mertajam.

What is fondant ?
Fondant is a sugar based, white and satin smooth substance used mainly in cakes and cookies decoration. It can be sculpted into different shapes and figurines besides covering a cake smoothly. Well, it is sweet and relatively tasty when flavoured.

Besides fondant, do you use other icings?
Yes, we use buttercream, chocolate ganache, cream cheese and fresh cream for our cake designs too.

What cake flavours do you offer? Can we request for other flavour?
Please refer to How To Order section. If you prefer other flavour, just let us know, we will see if we could make it.

How’s the quality of your ingredients? Are they halal?
Only premium grade of fondant, gum paste, icing and filling are used. As our cupcakes and cake are made to order, you get the freshest taste. Also, our customer base includes Muslim, so we only use ingredients which are certified halal.

How do you price your cake?
We price according to design complexity, cake composition, structure and amount of time involved.

How to place an order?
You may give us a call or email us to place your order. Please click  To Order for details to include in your ordering enquiry.

How far in advance should I place my order?
You're advised to order 2 weeks in advance.  For wedding, full moon, corporate door gift or any big order, kindly place your order 2 months earlier. If the celebration falls on weekends, much earlier booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Anyway, if you are forced to give a shorter notice, ask us, we shall see if we can squeeze it into our schedule.

Do you conduct workshop or class?
Yes, we conduct personal and group classes from time to time. We shall announce on our blog and Facebook for any new class coming up. For personal class, kindly contact us directly for arrangement.

How do you confirm my order?
A 50% non-returnable deposit is required to secure a date and confirm your order. We shall email (internet client) or sms (phone order) you a confirmation slip or issue you a receipt (walk-in client) upon confirmation of order.

Payment Method
We accept cash, online bank transfer or ATM deposit. For overseas client, please email us for your preferrred payment method. We shall provide you our account details when an order is received.

Pick-Up Point: Taman Sri Rambai, Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

Delivery can be arranged to BM and neighbouring townships, including Penang island at  minimal charges but it's subject to availability.

Do you deliver to KL?
As cakes are considered highly fragile goods, courier companies do not guarantee safe delivery and some not even accept the job. Hence,  unless the order is big enough and the client is willing to pay for the cost, we are unable to deliver to KL nor other locations which require more than 2 hours drive. Alternatively, you may hand-carry the cake or cupcakes (small order) themselves via car, coach or flight as how some of our clients do.

Shall we keep the cake in fridge before celebration?
No, fondant cake is safe outside the fridge. In fact, the coolness of fridge will ruin fondant icing. It 'sweats' when the cake is brought out of the fridge. So, refrigerate the cake only after celebration when there is leftover.

How long can we keep the cake?
The cake will last for 4 days in room temperature and 2 weeks in the fridge. To keep sugarpaste figurines for a long time, you have to leave them in air-conditioned room.
